Gandhiji is tired
One marble statue of a smiling Mahatma Gandhi stands at a verY prominent place in Kolkata. Late at night, one day, when a person was passing by the side of that statue, Gandhij called him. As he stopped dumbfounded, .Gandhiji informed him how, standing on his legs for years, he was feeling completely exhausted and that he was unable to bear it any longer. He also drew the man's attention to a statue where Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was sitting comfortably on a horse. Gandhiji requested the man to bring a horse for him as fast as possible. Totally puzzled and confused, the man returned home and informed his family members about the incident. The incident spread like a wild fire all over the city of Kolkata the next day. The news also reached the ears of the then Chief Minister of Bengal. Furious with anger, the CM wished to meet the person concerned before taking any action against him. The man came and informed the CM that until he visits the spot with him, he would not be able to explain anything. So both of them went there at midnight that day.
