Upper Dibang Valley District
Upper Dibang Valley district has been carved out from the erstwhile
district of Dibang Valley with headquarters at Anini. Anini is a small
hilly town located close to the frontiers of China. The district derives its name
from the river Dibang which flows through it. The total area covered by
the district is 13,029 sq. km and population according to 2001 census
is 57,543.
